HELLO MEXICO!!

Okay everyone i know i have been slacking SORRY, but Elder Roberts is finally in MEXICO and he loves it !! He got there monday june 15th. His companion is Elder Toutai (try and pronounce that one) His companion is from Rancho Cucamonga and as you can see they are getting along really well. Taylor has already had the opportunity to enjoy TOCO INTESTINES (umm) he said he might lose some weight while he is in mexico. Anyways, Taylor is loving his mission and i can see such a change in him in the letters that he sends each week!! We are all so proud of him!! Here are some pictures Tay sent in his last email ... Letter's are fun!

So this week i recived 2 letters from elder roberts!! yay ... the first he wrote the first day in the MTC he talked about how he could already feel the spirit and was so excited about everything. He then talked about how he went into a meeting and was told that he was the DISTRICT LEADER he said and i quote "didn't see that one coming" :) so that was the biggest surprise and i couldn't be more excited for him because i know he will do a great job. His second letter came today!! he talked about how time goes by fast while he is there he said his days are very busy with lots to do. He loves his teachers and the new friends he has meet he says that he has an awsome district too!! He is learning the language he says that he loves learning about the doctrine though he said he has learned so many new things so far. His companion's name is elder aitken and he is from canada tay says he is hilarious and that he makes EVERYONE laugh. My favorite part about these letters though is when he talks about his testimony he said that his testimony has grown so much in such a little bit of time, he talks about how he cannot wait to get to MEXICO and share the gospel to the people. It is so good to hear that he is adjusting so well, we all knew he would i mean who doesn't LOVE taylor :) - well everyone ill keep you updated!! Tay <3

They just show the fun personality he has and how much fun and laughter he will bring to the people of Leon, Mexico.I am so happy for him and i cannot wait to get a letter so i can tell you all how he is doing!!WE MISS YOU TAY!!

Farewell Sunday

Well yesterday was both one of the best days ever and the hardest. I was so nervous for my talk and I don't know why. I don't usually get nervous for talks but for some reason this one made me go crazy. I was fine once I started talking though. Except for the fact that I cried like a baby the entire time haha. It was good though. After church was where the hard part came in. My wonderful girlfriend Taylor Behrens came over and after hanging out for a few hours we had to say goodbye. HARDEST THING I HAVE EVER HAD TO DO! I know we're going to be fine though and that's what's keeping me strong. My setting apart was awesome. I thought I was going to get a little emotional but I think I was all dried out from everything that happened earlier in the day. I'm thankful for everyone that came to hear me talk and over to my house later to see me get set apart. I'm so excited for the next two years. I'm a little worried about the MTC cause I'm sure I'll just be be wanting to get out to Mexico the entire time. It'll be fun though. Well if this is the last time I write on here Taylor Behrens will be taking over and she'll post the letters and pictures I send home. Adios.

Last week in California!

I have to admit this whole blog thing was a little confusing at first but I'm starting to pick it up. Well this is my last week at home before I head out on my mission. I report to the MTC March 25th and I'll be there for 8 weeks. May 24th I fly out to Mexico City and then LEON GUANAJUATO HERE I COME!!!! I'll be there until March 2011.
